How do I get started?

First, click on the On-line Banking, sign up now, icon on our home page. Once you complete the application, an On-line Banking ID will be e-mailed to you within two business days. For the initial sign-on, your Password will be the last four digits of your Social Security number. You will be required to change your Password at the initial sign-on. The Password can be 4-8 digit alpha-numeric characters. Upon sign-in, you may go to the Options portion of On-line Banking and change your On-line Banking ID to something that is easy to remember.

What is the cost of On-line Banking?

There is no fee to use our On-line Banking service. There is also no charge to use the On-line Bill Pay service.

Am I automatically set up for Bill Pay when I sign up for On-line Banking?

No. This is a separate service, which you must sign up for after you have logged on to On-line Banking.

Is my On-line Banking ID case sensitive?

No. You may use upper or lower case and you can also use numbers.

What can I do online?

You can log on to our secure web site to check your account balance, view current transactions, view transaction history, transfer funds from one account to another, pay bills, plus much more.

Are my transactions secure?

Yes. 128-bit encryption by Verisign ensures security. Security walls, encryption systems and password checks allow only you to access your account with secure user name and password that you set.

What does my computer need to be able to access On-line Banking?

You will need Internet Explorer 4.0 or greater with 128-bit encryption or Netscape Navigator version 4.5 through 4.77 with 128-bit encryption. (Netscape 6.0 does not work.)

What accounts can I view online?

You can view any Bartow County Bank account, including checking, savings, CD's, IRA's and loan account where you are listed as the primary owner or co-owner.

Can I make Bartow County Bank loan payments online?

Yes. As long as your loan payment is not past due (even one day), you can use the transfer option to transfer funds from your savings or checking account to pay any Bartow County Bank loan payment, including overdraft protection.

Can I transfer funds online?

Yes. You may transfer funds to and from any Bartow County Bank account that you have been authorized to view online. If you need to add an account to access, please contact us. You must be an authorized signer on an account for access to that account.

Can I place a stop payment on a check online?

Yes. Stop payments may be place on checks you have written. Our normal fee of $30 will be charged for all stop payments placed. Stop payments may not be placed on ACH's online.
